Donor Privacy Policy

DONOR PRIVACY POLICY

TED Center is committed to honoring our donors’ privacy, including securing any personally identifiable information. Documents containing information about our donors are carefully protected by TED Center, and are destroyed when no longer needed. Your name, address, and any other personal data you provide will be used only by TED Center to keep you informed of our activities including our programs, trainings, newsletter, special events, and funding needs. If at any time you choose not to receive these communications, you may contact TED Center and we will gladly remove your name from our mailing list.

Donor Receipts

All donors, whether anonymous or not, will receive a letter recognizing their gift as long as we have the donor’s contact information.

Donor Public Recognition

All donors’ names will be added to TED Center’s mailing list. Donors will also be recognized in any or all of the following: TEDCenter’s website, TED Center’s annual report, and TED Center’s quarterly email newsletter. In such cases third parties will have access to our donor names and amounts. Donors have the right to request that their donations not be publicized and that their names not be listed in any of these venues. Such requests should be made by mailing or faxing your donation with the Donor Form and check the “anonymous gift” box. By checking the "anonymous gift" box, you will not receive public recognition for your gift and your name will not be added to TED Center's mailing list.

Mailing List

TED Center does not sell, trade, or rent donor names, phone numbers, or addresses including email addresses to third parties. Personal donor information is only used by TED Center for charitable purposes as described above.

PRIVACY POLICY

Thank you for visiting the Florida Women's Business Center website and reviewing our privacy policy.

General Disclaimer

While visiting Flwbc.org, we will not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. If you choose to provide this information, it will be used for the express purpose for which it was intended, such as responding to your request for business concealing, training and or joining a discussion via zoom. We remind you that if you visit a link outside of FLWBC.org you are subject to the privacy policies of that site.

Programs And Services

The FLWBC and TED Center programs and services are provided to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Accommodations for counseling will be provided to clients with limited English proficiency and/or persons with disabilities when requested at least two weeks in advance.

Consent and Release for Interview, Photographing, Videotaping, and/or Website Use

I consent to interview(s), photography, videotaping, and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for public relations, news articles or telecasts, education, advertising, research, inclusion on the Florida Women’s Business Center (FLWBC) website, fundraising, or any other purpose by FLWBC and/or its affiliates. I release FLWBC, their officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, or publication of said interviews, photographs, slides, computer images, videotapes, or sound recordings.

I waive all rights I may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or film rental is charged. I also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or film taken by FLWBC of the person or entity designated by it. I release and discharge FLWBC and/or its affiliates from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite from whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of the pictures, or in any processing toward the completion of the finished product. All negatives and positives, whether prints, video, film, or sound recording are the property of FLWBC, or the person or entity designated by it, solely and completely.

I declare that I am eighteen (18) years old or older and am legally competent to execute this release or that I have acquired the written consent of my parent or guardian. I understand that the terms herein are contractual and not a mere recital, that this instrument is legally binding, and that I have voluntarily agreed to this release.

I have fully informed myself of this consent, waiver, or liability, and release before submitting my registration.

Cookies

Site security

For site security purposes and to ensure that FLWBC.org website remains available to all users, this website employs commercial firewall software security programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no attempts are made to identify individual users and their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction by FLWBC.org web master.

Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.
